His responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure support, application production support, IT applications development, DevOps, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure. He also serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), playing a critical role in ensuring the security of the company's information systems.

Education and Expertise

Charls Darvin studied at SGR Institutions in Bangalore, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Diploma from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, he completed his Pre-Degree at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, from 1986 to 1988. His foundational education includes primary and secondary schooling at Vani Vilasam U P School and Aleemul Islam High School in Thrissur. His educational background supports his expertise in IT infrastructure and security.

Background

Before joining Altimetrik, Charls Darvin worked at Covansys as an IT Specialist Level III from 2003 to 2007 and at CSC as Manager-System Management from 2007 to 2011. His experience in these roles contributed to his extensive knowledge in IT management and infrastructure development. He has been instrumental in setting up Offshore Development Centers (ODC) and Global Delivery Centers (GDC) at Altimetrik, showcasing his leadership in global IT operations.

Achievements

At Altimetrik, Charls Darvin initiated the implementation of Office 365 and Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs. These initiatives reflect his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and security within the organization. His leadership in overseeing various IT functions has been pivotal in advancing the company's technological capabilities.
