About Richard Graham
Software Engineer with over 17 years experience in real-time safety-critical automotive embedded software. My area of expertise is low level software for microcontrollers, ASICs, and discrete circuit drivers. My passion is working where software meets hardware and solving the specific challenges of embedded systems. Throughout my career I have been at the forefront of defining software architecture for new product development and am always among the first to get new prototype hardware, data sheets, and evaluation kits. I enjoy working in cross-disciplinary teams with electrical and mechanical experts to realize robust and efficient interfaces between software and the external world. I have a deep understanding of real-time constraints and excel at finding unique solutions with limited resources. I'm passionate about efficiency, about doing more with less, and enjoy the challenge of balancing efficiency with flexibility and reusability. I especially enjoy working with programmable timers within microcontrollers (e.g. TI NHET, Infineon/Bosch GTM MCS). I'm also an owner of a PHEV and I'm very excited to be a part of the future of e-mobility and other green tech, both as a consumer and as an industry professional.
