The Olberding Brand Family has been a CPG brand steward since 1919. Originally established as a family-owned and operated graphics services company, it is now in its fourth generation of leadership. The company celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 and began doing business under the name Olberding Brand Family that same year.
Services
The Olberding Brand Family provides a wide array of services to its CPG partners, including brand strategy and design, packaging and digital adaptation, and premedia and plate making. They specialize in packaging comps and mockups, particularly in their Atlanta, GA studio, and also offer color management and 3D/CGI asset creation for eCommerce and digital marketing. Additionally, their flexo and dry-offset plates, made at their headquarters, support various packaging needs.
Brands
The Olberding Brand Family comprises three brands: Coach House, Amplify, and Phototype. Coach House is their premier brand consultancy and package design studio, launched in 2003. Amplify, introduced in 2018, provides adaptive design services. Phototype is central to their comprehensive graphics services, offering support for both brand protection and visual asset management.
Locations
The Olberding Brand Family operates out of multiple locations, including Cincinnati, OH; Ashford, United Kingdom; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; and Tampa, FL. The majority of the Coach House team is based at their Cincinnati headquarters, which also houses their flexo platemaking facility, metal decorating pilot press, and color management services. Their Atlanta studio specializes in packaging comps and mockups.
Innovations
The Olberding Brand Family has a history of innovation in the graphics services industry. In 2012, they launched a 3D studio in their Columbus, OH office and opened an additional production facility in Dallas, TX. In 2017, they installed a can printing press for piloting and proofing new designs. The following year, they introduced Brilliance™, a combination separation and plate technology, alongside launching their adaptive design service, Amplify.
